So I was told today that a meeting I have to go to would be at a time that would keep me from getting to the Young Adult Fellowship at church this weekend, which I was really looking forward to, and I was really upset, but I called Carmelita tonight, and she said she'd heard that the meeting in question had been miraculously cancelled. Hallelujah! Bring on the board games and junk food!

Jon

Biography: Jon started reading Gordon Korman more than 20 years ago, beginning with Beware the Fish, and as soon as he started, he had to keep reading everything he could get his hands on.

Eventually, he reached the point of writing to Gordon as each new book came out, passing on his thoughts and praise, and Gordon wrote back, establishing a strong friendship over the years.

Unhappy with the level of Gordon Korman websites, and convinced he could do a better job, Jon created the Semi-Official Gordon Korman Web Site, and eventually Gordon asked him if he'd like to make it the official site, and bring some more content into it.

On matters other than Gordon Korman, ~~Jon is currently freezing in Omaha, NE, and has a cat named Black Lightning who is both his companion and the bane of his existence.~~

Jon has returned to Orlando, and is mucking about with this forum, trying to make it all that it should be. It is the forum that is now the bane of his existence.

All right, just a note here, before I have to start doing heavy editing in this version of this thread, and it vanishes, as well ... this thread is for fairly important announcements. Not very important, but a little bit important. If I start to see three, four and five posts a day per person discussing lightness of homework and the like, I will scream, go insane, and lock down the entire board!

Life's getting really hectic. Wednesdays are as follows:
7:30 - My mom takes Dad to work so that she can have a vehicle
7:45 - my brother takes the car and goes off to college till 7 PM
8:45 - Mom gets home, my sister takes my other sister to a music lesson
10:00 - Mom runs a few errands
4:00 - We, being a sister, me, and Mom, go to my dad's work and pick him up
4:45 - We hurry to my string lesson
5:30 - I get my string lesson
6:00 - Dad, Mom, my sister, and I go to my sis's orchestra
6:45 - her school orchestra starts, my parents go and do some shopping
7:00 - my brother gets home
6:45-9:00 - I sit in the cafeteria, do homework and get extremely bored
10:00 PM- we get home

We need another car, dude. Smiley
