Jon

Biography: Jon started reading Gordon Korman more than 20 years ago, beginning with Beware the Fish, and as soon as he started, he had to keep reading everything he could get his hands on.

Eventually, he reached the point of writing to Gordon as each new book came out, passing on his thoughts and praise, and Gordon wrote back, establishing a strong friendship over the years.

Unhappy with the level of Gordon Korman websites, and convinced he could do a better job, Jon created the Semi-Official Gordon Korman Web Site, and eventually Gordon asked him if he'd like to make it the official site, and bring some more content into it.

On matters other than Gordon Korman, ~~Jon is currently freezing in Omaha, NE, and has a cat named Black Lightning who is both his companion and the bane of his existence.~~

Jon has returned to Orlando, and is mucking about with this forum, trying to make it all that it should be. It is the forum that is now the bane of his existence.

I don't know, I think Meg would be calmer and more peaceful than Cathy, if the whole On the Run thing hadn't happened. I don't get the impression that she would have been a wildly creative force for chaos that Cathy is. But then, that's just my feeling on the matter.

I believe what Cathy did was more corectly called " making her own fun" . She was stuck in a world of routine and boredom (Bruno and Boots excluded) rather than conform she did what she had to to keep life interesting.

As for Meg. In comparasion to Cathy I can't say that she "made her own fun" her motivation was completely different coming from necessity rather than boredom.

There is however a similarity in regards to her doing things without questioning herself. I can't recall her questioning whether she could or couldn't accomplish something she just did it. in this manner she is the same as Cathy.

At least that is my thinking on this interesting topic.

I doubt she'd work as much mischief as Cathy; however, she'd definitely have every single one of the teachers hating her and probably shoot her mouth off to Miss Scrimmage much more than Cathy does. Meg and Cathy are both pretty good liars, but Meg has more of a temper.
