Biography: Jon started reading Gordon Korman more than 20 years ago, beginning with Beware the Fish, and as soon as he started, he had to keep reading everything he could get his hands on.

Eventually, he reached the point of writing to Gordon as each new book came out, passing on his thoughts and praise, and Gordon wrote back, establishing a strong friendship over the years.

Unhappy with the level of Gordon Korman websites, and convinced he could do a better job, Jon created the Semi-Official Gordon Korman Web Site, and eventually Gordon asked him if he'd like to make it the official site, and bring some more content into it.

On matters other than Gordon Korman, ~~Jon is currently freezing in Omaha, NE, and has a cat named Black Lightning who is both his companion and the bane of his existence.~~

Jon has returned to Orlando, and is mucking about with this forum, trying to make it all that it should be. It is the forum that is now the bane of his existence.

Glad you guys liked the pics! We think he's really cute, too! I love the one with the cat, too... I should try to get that shot again and see how much Daniel has grown.

I took Daniel to a birthday party at a nursing home when he was a few weeks old, and one little old lady looked at the baby and said he was a good-looking child, and that most babies are so homely you have to pretend they're cute, but we really had a beautiful baby. Grin

Daniel was never red and wrinkled with a squashed head. I really was amazed at how cute he was when they put him in my arms. I think most babies are born ugly, then get cute later, and I was prepared to have an ugly baby, and then... he wasn't! lol I must see if I have any clear pics of Daniel right in the delivery room. He's a day or two old in the hospital pics I posted.
