We started out with Toys for tots
But now we've branched right out
Things have changed lots and lots
Now poems are what it's all about

Toys R Us is what we were
But poems are now what's in
We are determined, and quite sure
That toys were wearing thin

Nobody wants a toy these days
When poems are in such style
Toys tend to fade and go their ways
While poems will last a while

And now we hire the world's best bards
They're smart, and "in the know"
They specialize in greeting cards
Our genius poet's name is Joe

On matters other than Gordon Korman, ~~Jon is currently freezing in Omaha, NE, and has a cat named Black Lightning who is both his companion and the bane of his existence.~~

Sometimes I can't see what it is you are testing, but I guess as long as you are testing something ....

You may want to think about copying your rather nice first poem here somewhere to the active board, so it doesn't vanish completely when this gets converted. Its a very fun little poem!
