Wow, thanks to all of you!
I appreciate you showing me that
you ardently disagree with me, and in this case, it's a good thing!
I just went back and read my '362' poem, and I agree with you, E. It actually is written pretty good.
I agree that the subject matter is bad, but the poem is decent. I guess that shows me that my poetry
isn't dead!
I'll try and get something GOOD up later today.
Glad you liked the poems, Silk. Hope you enjoy the forum.
If you enjoy it half as much as I have, then you will have enjoyed it immensely!

Oh, I wasn't going to do this (thank people individually), but, why not!

So there.
pft.
Thanks, Jen. My stoppage of self deprecation hasn't worked out too well. I guess the good thing is, it's never too late to be nice to myself!

And even though I didn't like what the poem was saying (reply 362) I thought it was good.
Thanks, E. Glad you liked it, and glad you think I'm fine just the way I am!

Joe sounds like he needs a song:
Always look on the bright side of life

Always look on the bright side of life

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...always look on the bright side of life...

Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.
And...always look on the bright side of life...

Always look on the light side of life...

From the ever-odd Monty Python.
When I was first reading this, I thought that you had written that, Jon. Still, I appreciate the time to encourage me. Thank-you very much.
Thanks to all of you.
Not very poemy, but none of this has been too poemy, so, I thought you all would be happy to know that I just had a fantastic day. I'm about to go change my mood.
