Jon Biography: Jon started reading Gordon Korman more than 20 years ago, beginning with Beware the Fish, and as soon as he started, he had to keep reading everything he could get his hands on.
Eventually, he reached the point of writing to Gordon as each new book came out, passing on his thoughts and praise, and Gordon wrote back, establishing a strong friendship over the years.
Unhappy with the level of Gordon Korman websites, and convinced he could do a better job, Jon created the Semi-Official Gordon Korman Web Site, and eventually Gordon asked him if he'd like to make it the official site, and bring some more content into it.
On matters other than Gordon Korman, Jon is currently freezing in Omaha, NE, and has a cat named Black Lightning who is both his companion and the bane of his existence.
Jon has returned to Orlando, and is mucking about with this forum, trying to make it all that it should be. It is the forum that is now the bane of his existence.

So on the SF forum, I recommended one of Brandon's mainstream fantasy books, and in here I have kind of plugged his scifi kids' fiction books, the Alcatraz series. Well, tonight, I have read a couple of short stories he has written, and they have both been cool, fun, and interesting.
